GO RED DAY
February is American Heart Month! Students and staff at Spring Hill promoted the "Go Red" campaign to raise awareness about heart disease. According to the American Heart Association, "Heart disease is the leading cause of death of men and women in the U.S. Every year, 1 in 4 deaths are cause by heart disease."
The good news? Heart disease can often be prevented when people make healthy choices and manage their health conditions.  Communities, health professionals and families can work together to create opportunities for people to make healthier choices.
For more information about heart disease, visit www.americanheart.org.
